Year of the Green Winter, 1 hour DVD. Price 30.00. Details life on the western Pennsylvania frontier from 1740 -1770. A native family has been driven from their wigwam and is forced to flee with only the clothes on their backs and the provisions they can carry. The DVD shows how the family found shelter, hunted, grubbed for roots, and trapped through the winter once they were driven from their village. A teacher's guide is provided.
